We may collect your name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order details, and other information you send through forms on this site.
We use that information to fill orders, answer questions, keep records, improve the site, and (if you agree) send occasional product emails. We may contact you by email, phone, or mail about an order.
We use reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards for information collected online. Payment card data is processed by Authorize.net and is not stored on our servers.
This site uses cookies to understand which pages are used and to keep your cart and session working. You can decline cookies in your browser; some features may not work as well.
This site may link to other websites (including Silencer Shop). We do not control those sites. Their privacy practices are their own.
To correct information we hold, or to ask us not to use your email for marketing, write or email info@kvfirearms.us. We will not sell or lease your personal information unless you permit it or the law requires it.
Using this site or placing an order with Kennebec Valley Firearms is your agreement to these Terms. Read them carefully. These Terms apply to this site, not only to a single domain name.
Items on this site are sold online. Our catalog reflects distributor availability. We are appointment-only and do not run a walk-in showroom.
Firearms (Title I). Firearms never ship to a private home. Shop firearm orders ship to Kennebec Valley Firearms in Bingham, Maine (FFL# 6-01-04507) for transfer and pickup by appointment. At pickup you complete ATF Form 4473 and we run the required NICS background check. You take possession only after NICS is approved.
Shipping to another FFL isn't available at checkout. If you need a different arrangement, contact us at info@kvfirearms.us or 207-858-2970 before you place the order. Otherwise, orders ship to Kennebec Valley Firearms.
NFA / Class 3. You can buy NFA items two ways. Inventory can differ either way: (1) through our online catalog from our distributors, or (2) on our Silencer Shop dealer page for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and short-barreled shotguns (Kennebec Valley Firearms selected; you check out on Silencer Shop; we certify the Form 4 here). Inbound transfers, Form 1 builds, machine guns, destructive devices, and other NFA Silencer Shop does not cover go through us on ATF eForms. Shop NFA and Silencer Shop dealer-page NFA pick up at KVF only after ATF Form 4 approval. They are not transferred to another FFL or SOT. We do not promise Title I / 4473-only transfers of NFA items unless and until federal rules and our published process say otherwise.
Accessories and ammunition. Eligible accessories, optics, parts, and ammunition may ship to your street address where the law allows. Some accessories may ship direct to you when drop-ship is available and your state allows the item. Some other brands cannot drop-ship and must be picked up at KVF. The product page will say so. Ammunition to California, New York, Washington, D.C., or Massachusetts ships to KVF for transfer instead of your door. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
Your responsibility. You must be the actual buyer. You must meet the legal age for each item. You must not be prohibited under federal or Maine law. You are responsible for state and local restrictions before you order.
If you buy a firearm through us for pickup at Kennebec Valley Firearms, you must complete Form 4473 and take possession within 7 business days after we tell you it is ready, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
If NICS denies the transfer, or a delay does not result in approval, we cannot complete the transfer. We do not override NICS.
If you do not complete pickup in time, or the transfer cannot be completed, original shipping, return shipping, and a 20% restocking fee may apply as set out in these Terms.
You must meet the minimum legal age in your state for every item you order. Where federal dealer rules apply: handguns and handgun ammunition, 21 or older; rifles, shotguns, and rifle or shotgun ammunition, 18 or older. You must be of legal age to own the items you order.
By ordering you represent that you are the actual transferee/buyer and that you are not prohibited under federal, Maine, or local law. That includes, without limitation, that you have not been convicted of a felony or other crime for which a judge could have imprisoned you for more than one year; have not been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence; are not subject to a restraining order against stalking, harassing, or threatening anyone; have not been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions; have not been adjudicated mentally defective or committed to a mental institution; and are not an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic, or other controlled substance.
If we ask, you will provide a copy of your state identification, photos of received product, or other requested information within 48 hours. You are responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws before ordering or using any item from this site, and for following manufacturer safety instructions.
Prices change with wholesale cost and promotions. We price from current wholesale pricing when you place the order. We do not guarantee a price and will not issue a partial refund if a listed price drops after you buy.
Catalog quantity can be low and more than one person may order the same item. We fulfill the first funded order that has the information we need. If we run out, we cancel and refund. If only part of a multi-item order is unavailable, we may ship what we can and refund the rest.
Titles, descriptions, pictures, and prices can contain errors. We guarantee you will receive the item with the UPC you ordered. Pictures and descriptions may or may not be accurate. Verify the UPC with the manufacturer before you order. We are the final arbiter of discrepancies. Substantial listing errors, as we determine them, may be returned at actual shipping cost only.
Using this site is your agreement to pay for orders you place and not to dispute payment. We will actively pursue credit, debit, or other chargebacks through collection and legal means.
On every filed chargeback (or similar charge against us) you agree to pay: a $50 chargeback fee per filing (or the maximum allowed by law if less); a $200 administrative fee per filing (or the maximum allowed by law if less); the original chargeback amount; collection recovery costs; incidental costs (including travel, hotel, and meals); and attorney fees. If we assign a collection agent, you also agree to a collection fee of 40% of the total owed to Kennebec Valley Firearms.
Filing a chargeback cancels the order. You remain responsible for the order-cancellation fee, chargeback fee, administrative fee, and collection fees above.
Firearms and NFA items ship to Kennebec Valley Firearms for transfer, not to a home. Eligible accessories and ammunition may ship to a street address where the law allows. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Orders placed to a P.O. box will be cancelled and are subject to the cancellation fee.
Non-firearm items should ship to the billing address. If billing and shipping addresses do not match, we may cancel the order and apply the cancellation fee. You must provide a safe delivery point. Carrier “Delivered” status is proof of delivery. We are not responsible for theft after delivery. Optics may ship restricted delivery and may require the cardholder’s ID.
Orders typically ship from a distributor warehouse within 3 to 10+ business days (weekends and holidays are not business days). We choose the carrier. Shipping is applied per item. If an item is damaged, lost, or stolen in transit, you contact the carrier to file a claim. If the receiving party is unavailable, you pay to reship if a replacement is available; if not, the order is cancelled and the cancellation fee applies.
Except for firearms purchased with insured shipping, risk of loss and title pass when we deliver the item to the carrier.
All firearm sales are final. Once a firearm has been transferred, it is used even if unfired. Used firearms are sold with no warranty.
Manufacturer warranties, if any, are between you and the manufacturer. Kennebec Valley Firearms does not warranty, repair, or replace items. Contact the manufacturer for defects, including cosmetic issues. Most manufacturers require you to pay shipping for warranty work.
If a firearm or other item must be shipped back to a wholesale partner or to our FFL, you pay return shipping and related fees. On a new, unopened item received with a return authorization, your purchase price minus original shipping, return shipping, and a 20% restocking fee may be refunded to the original payment method after we receive and process the return. We do not reship returned items. Do not ship anything back without a return authorization. Items without one may be treated as abandoned with no refund.
If an order is cancelled after it is placed, you are responsible for original shipping, return shipping, a 20% cancellation fee, and any related fees (including RTS). Refunds wait until returned product is received and processed, which can take up to five business days. Cancellation requests must be emailed to info@kvfirearms.us and are valid only after written confirmation. Orders cannot be changed after they are placed; a change requires cancellation and the cancellation fee.
We will not modify a firearm from its manufactured packing to make it compliant with your state laws, including removing magazines. We will not ship firearms to a third party to be modified. Order only items that are compliant as manufactured. If you order a restricted or prohibited item for your state, you are responsible for the cancellation fee, restocking fee, and related charges. Do not order a restricted item on the hope that a receiving FFL or a law-enforcement exception will fix it.
You agree to follow these Terms, provide a valid phone number and email, and accept contact at those details. Checkout information is transmitted with industry-standard TLS. You are responsible for protecting any username and password and for activity under your account.
Questions go through our contact page. We communicate primarily by email. An invalid email is your responsibility.
Reviews and other content you post must not be untruthful, defamatory, illegal, threatening, or otherwise injurious. By posting, you grant Kennebec Valley Firearms a nonexclusive, perpetual, royalty-free right to use that content. We may remove content. We may disclose personal information if you violate these Terms, if the law requires it, or to collect money owed.
We do not design or manufacture the products we sell. We are not liable for merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You assume responsibility for lead exposure from cleaning, handling, or discharging firearms or ammunition purchased from this site.
If you default under these Terms, we may block your access, terminate your account, and report the default to credit or collection firms and to law enforcement or courts with a legitimate reason to know. Even if you are not in default, we may cancel any order and refund amounts you paid for that order.
Kennebec Valley Firearms grants a limited license for personal use of this site. You may not copy, scrape, or commercially exploit the site without written consent. Unauthorized use voids that license.
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kennebec Valley Firearms and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against civil liability or criminal prosecution arising from your purchase or use of this site, including incorrect representations or failure to follow these Terms.
