The Patriot will be one of our customers new favorite go-to propellants for 223 5.56mm 308 Winchester 7.62mm 22-250 6mm ARC and 6.5 Grendel among others. If you currently use a bunch of H335 this propellant is right about the same burn speed and density. But...the Patriot contains flash suppression additives while H335 does not.
This propellant is spherical has a bulk density of 0.975 and flows well through volumetric loaders.
As with any propellant and load combination a minor change to any of the components of the test load CAN result in significant shift in ballistic performance.
