When Hodgdon H380 Spherical Rifle Powder was originally used by the company founder Bruce Hodgdon it had no name. When one-hole groups were produced from his .22 Caliber Wildcat from a 38.0 charge behind a 52 grain the powder was officially named. Today this powder is one of the top choices for reloading .257 Roberts .220 Swift and other cartridges used for varmint hunting.
